The Blue Anchor is in the village of East Aberthaw, which lies on the B4265 on the main coastal road from Cardiff to Llantwit Major to the west of the villages of Fonmon and Rhoose	Directions From Cardiff: Take the A4055 road westwards from Barry that is signposted to Llantwit Major, and follow it until you approach, on your left hand side a large modern cement manufacturing factory. There is a left turn signposted to Aberthaw, just before you would pass the factory. Take the left turn and follow the road up a short steep hill and follow the road for approximately 1 mile past the main entrance to the factory which will be on your right hand side. The Blue Anchor is on your left hand side in the middle of the village. Directions From Llantwit Major: Follow the A4055 from Llantwit Major towards Barry, approximately 5 miles to the East of Llantwit Major, you will see a large modern cement manufacturing factory on your right. Turn right just after the factory and follow the road up a short steep hill and follow the road for approximately 1 mile. The Blue Anchor is on your left hand side in the middle of the village.

The Blue Anchor is on your left hand side in the middle of the village.

There is limited car parking alongside the pub, but a 100 space car-park just across the road from the Blue Anchor
